The progression of a person during adolescence is such a weird thing. sometimes you wish you could forget the awkward years and sometimes you wish you could go back to a ridiculously awesome one. i.e. freshman year.

Calling into work sick was frightening, but my boss was like "ohh take care of yourself call me when you feel better!!" I thought he wouldnt care or think i was lying but he was tres gentil.
Isn't it cool that Ian is in Kansas and his favorite band is Kansas?? I've been to Kansas........the concert! muahahaha

So tonight was my first night at ChInA GrIlL. OoooMMMmmGGGGggg. The other restaurants around us like CPK and La Food show and Corner Bakery didnt have electricity cuz there was a power outage. (Just my luck that we had electricity) SOooo Everyone came to our restaurant, and it was sooo packed. I swear, it was so hectic. And i was hostessing all by myself :( But it was also good because i handled it well, and I think my boss likes me. Yay. The Lakers manager and team representative people ate there today! Supposedly they come regularly, yay! There are some crazy people out there man! Like this one lady asked me if I was serious when I told her there would be a 5 to 10 minute wait. My normal response would have been "No Lady, Im just kidding.........YES THERE IS A 5 TO 10 MINUTE WAIT YOU IDIOT!" But instead i said, "Yeahhhh, I'm sorry." HA. I'm such a good faker. And when I asked for this lady's name to put her down on the waiting list, she was like "my name......?" As if I was crazy. It was so frustrating. I actually had to tell her why I needed her name. Geez..... |
